Now that Sanusi Lamido is Gone, What Next President Jonathan?

"In the era of deceit, saying the truth is a revolutionary act---George Owelle

President Goodluck Jonathan has his name working for him ever since he took over the rein of government from the good man with radical intention, but was hijacked by the parasitic aides who were taking advantage of his infirmity, late President Umar Yar Adua, the good luck the President enjoys is so massive that a barrel of crude oil has not sold less than one hundred dollar, and the benchmark for the last budget was 74 dollar per barrel; that shows our country should be in eldorado, but quite unfortunate, seven out of ten persons on the street are extremely poor.

Today, Nigeria is servicing debt profile that could not be less than one trillion dollar, despite the fact that there is no major threat to the source of revenue to finance the monolithic economy we run as a nation, but we were made to believe that the pirates of the Niger Delta, where Mr. President hails from are stealing our crude oil blind to the tune of 400, 000 barrels per day, a situation that has depleted the federation account so grossly, so it was said.

Despite the fact that commoners who constitute 90 percent of the population are made to pay heavily for what pleases the nature to endow the country, allocations to the states and local governments are still less 40 percent that could not pay wage bill and pension, and the excess crude account that was designed as the backbone for any shortfall in the international market price of crude oil has been badly depleted too.

Know that the country is placating Jonathan's kinsmen who called themselves Niger Delta militants with over N250 billion annually, and that's why you see some of them running to Republic of Benin to establish universities, only to come to the country and sing the song of war against whoever says Jonathan would not be returned to Aso Rock come 2015 general election.

Besides, the Minister of Petroleum resources, Diezani Allison Madueke and the group Managing Director of the NNPC are kinswoman and kinsman of the President, but the corruption at the downstream and upstream of the petroleum sector was unthinkable, but no one born from the womb of a woman dare hurt the cabal nurtured by the President, because here in our country, leprosy does not matter, as long as we can afford to invest our energy on ringworms.

However, the blue blood of Kano royalty elected to confront the cabal by exposing the maggot of corruption in the NNPC, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi rolled out missing figures, he provided weapons of revolution, but our civil society is in terrible slumber, our people are contended with sprawling poverty, and they are hapless and helpless. Oh, Sanusi must go, because he dares, and go he must.

Now that the central bank governor who doubles as the chairman of governors of the West African central and national banks has been humiliated, and disgraced out of office like what happened to Hon. Justice Ayo Salami of the Court of Appeal for daring to scratch the truth, the entire sane world will be laughing at us. And that is the sorry state of Nigeria. And that is the President who wants to beg Nigerians for second term in office.
